Thanks for the mention Matt. We're a bit (okay, a heck of a LOT) more than just "ridiculously easy zero registration required, voice enabled photo sharing"... keep tracking us and you'll see soon enough. ;)

FYI: we're going to be at CES and look forward to meeting anyone that's interesting in talking shop and swapping ideas/thoughts. Drop me a note.

    Kind regards,

Thanks for mentioning Riya as well. we believe the best and easiest way to share/search your photos if we can auto-tag them by who the people in the photos are. :)

Too much hype too soon! While the concept behind Riya is awesome, the application in itself is very much in its infancy. They will hopefully get it right before the launch.

Thank you for the article, Matt

Frankly, I think the question to ask of any company is: how many people use you, how many photos do they store at your site, what's the site traffic and HOW MUCH MONEY DOES THE SITE MAKE... everything else is... like you said - a bubble...

There are indeed hundreds of sites out there (at least), and a few really awesome ones. Good luck to all those, many of them do a great job!

it is good to see many photo sharing sites, i hope each one of them find revenues and survive with their niche concepts....this way we do not have google or yahoo to monopolize the photo sharing market completely like search!!
