VC firms only invest there money in companies that are manage by Americans, Asians, Or people from other nationalities. I have a company, and is making lots of money. I went to VC firm some mention above. As soon as I presented my business plan they all like it but as soon as I told them my nationality they all back out, or try to take advantage of me. So to all VC firms open your eyes Hispanics are a growing group in the united states. And with the new political map, and President Obama. Is time to invest in Hispanic companies. Not just the same group of people. If have something to say about it let me know opod2006@yahoo.com

Re: Announcing VentureBeat’s roundtable on “how to manage the downturn”

Live events seems like a good way of capitalizing on your excellent news service

Re: Announcing VentureBeat’s roundtable on “how to manage the downturn”

It's interesting that the VC's now want to charge $189 for an audience. Perhaps it's the choice of venue or someone else is brokering the relationship and collecting the cash. At a Bootstrapper Breakfast ( http://www.bootstrapperbrea... ) you can meet other entrepreneurs who understand how to manage to their cashflow for just the price of your own breakfast and nothing else.

Re: Announcing VentureBeat’s roundtable on “how to manage the downturn”

I have a rewritten the social network website to support multi-languages.
