VentureBeat: Apple — not AT&T — holds off on Google Voice for the iPhone

Well, AT & T has openly announced that they neither interfere in the progress of Google Voice nor they will block any software or site then why Google withdraw applications related to the Google Voice from Apple App Store??

Exactly that it's the apple app store not the AT&T app store, both companies have some say with what goes on and what doesn't however apple is the over all picker for apps as the app store is avail. To all iPhone users not just the users on AT&T network but also the people on Rodgers in Canada and the folk in Europe on O2

    1. As it states above, yes Apple is the one that has rejected this app. Their reasons seem pretty legit, however, those reasons are pretty much just a cover-up of their real reasons that they can't come out in the public because Google is actually becoming a threat to their business.

    2. If this app was approved by Apple, then AT&T would of shot it down, but it never got to that point. Apple is keeping AT&T away from this since they've been taking enough blame regarding their service and things like picture messaging.

    3. Apple has no choice but to approve the Google app, they will probably ask for some tweaks to be made, they have to. And the reason why I say that they have no choice is because every other competitor will or does have this app and will just bash them in commercials (sprint), which they will lose more customers. And let me not mention all the Android powered phones that are coming up with this app.

So in short Google wants to hijack iphone mobile functionality. No wonder the deal is unacceptable as it is. Ofcourse if it goes through google might not have as much edge as initially expected and could easily drop out all the same.
