Interesting article. I disagree with the tone of JK's comment, but I think the article could benefit from some tweaking in terms of clarifying the types of members it is losing. I completely agree that, given the size of the brands involved, it merits attention.

Hi JK -- You are definitely right, and you can see I took "droves" out of the headline on second thought. I decided to keep hemorrhaging because 5 companies in 2 weeks, especially considering the weight of their brands, does merit some attention. Thanks for the comment though -- I hadn't previously heard anything on the Gore connection, but will look into it.

Five members out of 3,000,000 is hardly a 'drove' or even 'hemorrhaging.' At least do your homework and you wouldn't be writing such sensationalist headlines. And Gore is on Apple's board, and reports are that he pressured the company to cancel its membership. More inconvenient facts you ignore.
