    I doubt this will hurt Google a lot, Google is already very established for them to really get hurt because handfull of person leaves a company even High level ones means the company is run by an idiot from the start

    It may hurt Google's partners more as they seem to be "stealing" their "partners'" employees. How will Google continue to do business with companies that are offering jobs to their own staff? What about other companies that now see this happening? Will they engage in business with a company that may do this to them too?

    I think Google now have reached a state where the company is very established. Some of the entrepreneurs will get bored, and move on to new challenges. Also the financial crises may call for some changes in Google, as revenue gets under preasure.

    None of these executives have had to sell in a down economy, or with competition. Look for Google's click-thru rates to drop dramatically in the months and quarters to come as the economy grinds, and Google's Enterprise Application business has failed to attract Enterprise customers. These execs are simply getting out while they're on top, and before the numbers tank...

    Guys. Google is a company started by and run by technology jocks. Engineering rules the roost. Everyone else is a second-class citizen in the company. When engineers start leaving -- worry. When a right-place-right-time early employee leaves because he happened upon enough money to retire 10x over? well, why do you think it's news?
