VentureBeat: Backblaze makes it dead simple to backup your files online

Uh, er, Mozy did this a long time ago -- only better. A week?! Oh, and BTW, Mozy doesn't cost $5/mo. It's less, even free.

FYI Carbonite default backs up everything in your Documents and Settings folder, not just My Documents. So it picks up internet favorites, user data, etc. It will back up anything else that you ask it to back up, including executables. As a default, that makes the most sense to me.

Backblaze and Mozy cost the same. (For free, Mozy just gives a couple GB...just enough to try it...and Backblaze has a free unlimited storage trial.)

Most people do not backup at all - so using any solution is a good start. Since most users find backup to be too complex, Backblaze has taken a "Backup Everything" approach rather than Carbonite or Mozy's approach of "Pick what to backup".
