I do like their comparisons.

Reacting to the article above, you talk about Mint, Wesabe, Green Sherpa, others. One thing interesting is the biz model of some of those guys. Mint and Wesabe give the service away, but their profit comes from mining users financial data to build profiles that they share with advertsiers. In a way youre opening up a window into your arcounts. This is bad!

Green Sherpa is the only onw I know of for now that's not doin that. They are actually private. Mint and Wesabe are prettier, but privacy sold it for me

http://www.greensherpa.com

Re: BillShrink’s new recommendation engine tells you where to stash your savings

Pham is all show. Kind of a me-too offering really.

Re: BillShrink’s new recommendation engine tells you where to stash your savings

I also had a hard time swallowing that Billshrink and T-Mobile had a relationship. That doesn't sound like great independent advice. - http://www.techcrunch.com/2...

Re: BillShrink’s new recommendation engine tells you where to stash your savings

BillShrink is a great service. I thought the cell phone bill savings feature was a great idea but given how we are forced into multi-year contracts it had it's limitations. The new savings maximizer is the right service at the right time. Mint is more general and spent a bit too much time trying to be pretty and make great screenshots. I closed down my Mint account now that Intuit owns it. I have been brow-beaten by them one too many times already.

Re: BillShrink’s new recommendation engine tells you where to stash your savings

How is this different than what is offered on Mint.com?
