It really just comes off as a app-intense, flashy toy for people who aren't techies but who want to feel cool with their supposedly high-tech talking turds. Problem is...most of those apps are garbage, and most of the cool things it can do are all style and no substance. I'd take a BlackBerry Bold over an iPhone 3GS anyday.
