I hope the US government comes through and provides the loan guarantee Brightsource needs. It's good to see private companies investing in these major projects, but without backing and investment from the government renewable energy will be hard pressed to grow at the levels needed.

Unless my maths are terribly off, the snip suggests that the 200MW plant will take about 2.5 sq. miles while the 100MW plants will take up 544k acres each ... something seems amiss here.
