Spotplex had its 15 minutes of fame back in early March when it launched (unofficially I guess). If what happened since then is any indication (and we'd need to find out why now it would be any different), IMHO they have a very difficult time ahead in order to become relevant.

Digg makes plenty of money. Kevin Rose is one of the highest paid AdSense publishers out there and that's just one revenue stream.

Spotplex sounds like a decent idea. Will check it out and add it to my own little blog if it works well. Thank you for pointing it out.
