I enjoyed Cooliris, but now I don't. I use linux, and video clips don't work on it...and then I get on today and find they are placing Ads INTO the search results. They take up way too much space, google dosen't even do this, they place them to the side. The deal with ads are that when it makes using the software an inconvenience, when it gets in the way, then it's no good. And why the redesign of the interface? It was better before, especially the bottom scroll bar. It was more fluid and responsive. Now it is unwieldy.

Definitely believe in the power of a more immersive platform for engagement and advertising. Cooliris is at the leading edge of this trend. Another immersive 3D app that recently caught my attention, and is similar to Cooliris in some ways, is "My 3D Scenes". It's on Facebook (http://apps.facebook.com/my... and lets you add your photos & videos to create personalized 3D slideshows. Very cool and very much in line with what users and advertisers are going to be flocking to soon.
