Though the idea was really great, the implementation was not solid at all. Unfortunately, good idea didn't meet good engineers this time.

Bummer. They were supposed to release a new, better version of the hardware and software this year in time for Xmas shopping. I assume that's been scrapped.

This is a real shame. The Dash team was very passionate about their product but to be fair, that's a helluva lot of scratch to raise and not have good distribution in place. I also don't think they'll find many takers for their SW. It had some breakout features via connectivity, but they were really slow getting it out and alas, they done got caught up to.
