EVCA includes statistics from RVCA for BOTH PE/LBO AND VC. When you try to count out the VC deals only, the numbers drop to 20% of the original.
Always read the fine script.
Also, most recent deals in Russia were not fresh investments, they were change of control deals. One owner selling to another at a premium (or not). This is not comparable to US stats, either.
