VentureBeat: Exit interview: Retiring Intel chairman Craig Barrett on the industry’s unfinished business

    Kudos!
A visionary engineering manager. A rare breed fostered by visionary executives. Luck is very important. 35+ years is a lot of time in silicon. They (Intel's fab 5 Noyce, Moore, Andy, Craig, Paul) have turned it into the steel industry for information.

Fantastic, hopefully this will inspire more people to go deep in engineering and rise up the ranks, rather than run to get mba, thinking that's what's needed.
