Maybe flurry will move faster and with better focus; time will tell.
Had Google's Chart API included the same flash capability they reserve for their own analytics, we probably would have used theirs.
As for app store integration, I believe we offer a more compelling solution. You wouldn't have to wait for publication approval before you could test whether or not a new version was collecting data correctly. And, like you said, our focus on analytics gives you things that an app store wouldn't consider, like custom event tracking.
Oh and we do support multiple platforms, something I doubt very much the Apple App Store would support. =P
I'm a big fan of giving application developers the data they need to build better mouse-traps. Seeing services like yours come to market helps everyone get better.
On the appstore point, I was referring to the Android store and not apple. I have to think that Avinash Kaushik and the group at Google are baking in application support into their analytics offering so that it supports both iPhone (800lb gorilla) apps and Android. Their mobile analytics to date is lacking but given Google's current focus on mobile they must developing it.
Best of luck.
Thanks
As for Android, we've built a client that does exactly what Flurry's does, but I'm not at all happy with the way it (or Flurry's) detects an application termination, and think still too inaccurate to release. The client will be out when we're 100% confident we've got a quality product, and not a moment before.
