You will not receive them but the bonus is they keep the money!!! It's a scam!

Re: Funds blow in for Mariah’s residential wind turbine

Sean, it's the $5,000 model that will pay for itself in saved costs within 10 years, not the cheaper competing turbines I mentioned from Freetricity and the like. I hope that helps clarify things!

Re: Funds blow in for Mariah’s residential wind turbine

This is great. I am all about people being independant when it comes to energy. Is there a better way to become less effected by failing gov't policies and the economy.

There are 2 rather conflicting statements in this article though....

"Priced at $1,400 to $2,300, it provides a fairly affordable solution for lowering electric bills"

"A promising 4,000 pre-orders have already been received at $4995 a pop — a figure that could climb"

....What gives? $1400-$2300 is "ok" and will only get me my money back in a decade which is really not that great of an investment. Does this mean that it may take me 20-40 years to get my money back at the price tag of $5000? That is an even worse investment.

Do I have my wires crossed or does is anyone else confused here???
