    It is going to be interesting to see if the android is able to take a chunk of the iphone market with all it's google compatible tools, that are free vs the apps on sale (i.e. the free gps vs tom tom app.)

    This a so cool. The $99 iphone app's are really a money grabbing excise by the GPS companies. The thing that worries me is that with thing souring between Google and Apple, this might never show up on the iphone. But competition is good

    I myself would like a smart phone with all the features of an iPhone without having to go through AT&T. I think that Android feels that niche.

    The game theorists will have a field day working out the carrier / device / product combinations to offset / amplify the threat / opportunity from Android and Google navigation. Google's disruptive product will reveal how much scope there is for product and business model innovation.
