Interesting, Grand central is implementation of Astrix's open source SW for VOIP, these guys have cleverly twisted the SW with Web 2.0. What is more interesting is Google 's purchase of Peak stream Tech to me, this is a SW programming model company, which allowed people to use there GPU/video card to use it for co-processioning in complex math calc apps in parallel. Example :- Voice Rec, and video processing. which google needs cheaply. Peak Stream enables them to do that.
