So, as you asked, I tried it.
It seems a bit allover the place, as the app doesn't offer only IM, but also notifications from social networks and an aggregated ranked list of friends.
It's a nice idea though, and considering it's still in alpha, it worked pretty well.
The nicest thing about it is that it preforms as a social hub for all social addicts needs.
for now, I'm not sure I'll use it since it's still unknown and you can chat only with friends who have the app installed. needless to say, my friends are not there yet.
I'd be happy to see it change, cause I think it's a great way to create a personal network.
