I have been using it since day 1 and I am a "non techie" ( as you put it). It is a great way to share stuff with family and friends, particularly my daughter at university ( she and her student buddies think its great and are spreading the word) and my relatives abroad. I am aware that there may be problems that "non-techies" could be exposed to but credit us "non-techies" with some common sense!! Your full profile and avatar will still be visible as will thumbnails of all your published content and their descriptions (captions) as well as their tags.
