I'd urge Obama to send people like Gary Shapiro to the goulag for making anti tech worker statements.

As part of his stimulus plan we should build a goulag since we don't have one. I'm not sure what distinguishes a goulag from a prison, so perhaps we should outsource Gary Shapiro's Goulag experience to Russia. He's a big fan of outsourcing.

The last thing we need to do right now is expand the H-1b visa program. If anything, we should abolish the whole thing. That program is a subsidy and does not make us more competitive. It actually discourages Americans from pursuing computer sciences and engineering.

Shapiro's comments show what a corporate lapdog he really is. The H1B program is deeply flawed and should be abolished altogether. It is simply used as a vehicle to import cheap foreign labor. Satyam is the third such abuser in the US and we've all seen recently how they operate.

    P. Henry's comments show just how short sighted and clueless he is. As bad as the H1B program is, it's the reason why companies have stayed so long in the US. They are able to get the talent they need, right here since unfortunately the US doesn't graduate enough engineers who are citizens or permanent residents. Now that the quotas are down and companies cannot get enough manpower here, they go elsewhere where they have a big pool to choose from. Does P. Henry prefer that? or would he rather impose impossible laws forbidding companies from outsourcing?

We graduate more than enough engineers, you fool. Where are all these jobs you speak about that are going unfilled? If there's such a huge demand for them, wouldn't they be advertised? It's a fact that these companies are using this program simply for cheap, foreign labor. Wake up Ferns, the rest of the country has.
