Umm, actually field hockey is the national sport. Cricket is the most popular sport.

Oh well, it's an honest mistake. Even a lot of Indians make it.

thanks, guys. by "national sport" i'd meant "by far the most popular sport," not the official national sport. but i've clarified in the article.
