For example, transesterification of vegetable oil to
biodiesel is essentially identical to that of transforming algae oil to
biodiesel. Alternatively, the feedstock oil derived from algae can be
hydro-treated to produce bio-alkanes such as renewable diesel, renewable
gasoline, JP-8, and other jet fuels.

Re: LiveFuels raises $10M to turn algae into alternative fuel

why doesent someone make a small kit to experimentally grow oil producing algae? It would be cheap and allow thousands of amatures to expearimernt with this methodology? Quite posibly to great advantage To everyone. Send me a sample and I wil help develop a great oil producing algae to save the great from all the glory and work.

Re: LiveFuels raises $10M to turn algae into alternative fuel

how are you?
i'm Jadamba.
