After so much critical press of late for the "know-your-genome" consumer services, it's good to know that VCs are serious about funding personalized medicine science. Health expenditures in the U.S. are astronomical, partly (perhaps) because physicians tend to prescribe the most popular drugs rather than those that would be most efficacious for a particular patient.
