VentureBeat: MySpace’s iLike buy raises questions about Facebook

    Facebook needs to take notice of this. If the perception is that companies that build on it's platform are going to suffer from low valuations, than the good companies are going to build & distribute their products elsewhere.

    Good point, but not sure how much iLike's fate reflects the rest of the ecosystem -- music on the web is an incredibly tough business.

    maybe the reason Facebook isnt concerned about it falling into the hands of its 'rival' is because it doesnt consider MySpace to actually be a rival. FB considers Google to be its main rival, not MySpace.
