VentureBeat: Nokia and Symbian: Forget about Android, it’s all about Cutey (Qt)

Nothing new here, but good that you guys are trying to clarify things a bit. Seems like the clueless Nokia Android rumors at least helped get the discussions going and get some visibility for where things are going. The OS battles in mobile are a bit of old hat, Microsoft lost years ago and nobody cares. The more interesting battles are on the user experience level and higher in the stack so to say. iPhone is the one to beat, Android is an also run in this;-)

QT is the library behind KDE, which means there are already thousands of applications waiting to be ported to the mobile platform.

Plus i don't think you will ever be able to built QT apps on the iphone, as apple does not allow anyone to use other frameworks other than their own.
