All in the hope they can milk in the returns later and keep it (all? mostly?) for themselves.  Common shareholders, mostly employees, get zilch and they are usually unaware until it all plays out and they walk out empty handed.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Check what happened at OnStor, Cemaphore, and other Worldview deals.  Spitting in the wind comes back (at least once in a while) so Force10 is one example where Worldview got its due.
