    I've been following trip planning sites and location based social network for awhile (like dopplr and my personal favorite TripTies), and I like what Whrrl has to offer. It bridges the gap where some trip planning sites may lose their users, and that's in the spontaneity of travel. Some things just aren't planned, because no one wants to plan their night on the town minute by minute . A mobile app that will show me bars and restaurants in the area that my friends liked is hugely useful -- I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.

    I am excited about location based social networking and location based opted-in ad serving through phones. Does anyone have any information about multiplayer gaming using phones and their GPS technology? What about ad serving to users through online games using mobile?
