Problem with that is they will get scratched badly, so will need a glass covering, which defeats the idea of being flexible.

Would also be good for interactive public displays as they look very durable, such as bus stops and tourist maps.

It would eliminate the need for books. Each person could have an e-book that they can simple pick what they want to read and all the pages of their book fill up and they can read it just like a traditional book!
