Or is it that you think Posterous is a Tumblr wannabe?

Re: Resurrect your dead blog with Posterous

Um, are you suggesting that I stop writing about all startups founded by Stanford alums? Because that's silly, and would lead to lots of thumb-twiddling and not much writing.

To be clear: I never met either founder while we were at Stanford -- not that that would stop me from writing about a company -- and I've written about *many* companies 4 or 5 times or more.

In the future, I'd really appreciate it if you could get your facts straight before accusing me of unethical behavior.

Re: Resurrect your dead blog with Posterous

The writer went to Sanford with the two Posterous founders (along with me) and this is his 4-5th piece on the company - Venture Beat what a joke this is.

Re: Resurrect your dead blog with Posterous

It seems pretty lame to me - I don't get why someone would invest 750K into it. I moved a blog from Blogspot to Wordpress and used the same import feature. Email updates seems like an easy feature to add.

Even if they had something truly unique, what is it worth?

Re: Resurrect your dead blog with Posterous

Indeed, i agree. Posterous is an awesome service. You don't have to do much and yet your blogs are active!

Re: Resurrect your dead blog with Posterous

It's a nice idea, but blogs die out for a reason, and importing them to a new platform won't change human nature.
