VentureBeat: Retrevo offers gadget search engine; raises less than $1M

Retrevo is not a review site. Retrevo is an information site that helps users with specific information throughout the lifecycle of their product ownership, from pre-purchase research to post-purchase support. No other company on this planet can lay that claim. May be in a future column, you can review Retrevo with this broad perspective.

At iNods http://www.inods.com, we have launched a number of features recently which will make it very easy for shoppers to find specific user reviews and then decide what to buy. Check out the iNods guides as well!

I have an old at&t 1717 digital answering machine and misplaced the user's manual. I needed to know how to set up the time in it after a power outage. I typed in at&t 1717 in http://www.theusermanualsite.com it got me nowhere close to what I needed. But on retrevo, after typing in at&t 1717 and let it go. In seconds, the top item in the list shown is the user's manual, exactly what I needed.

5-11-2008 Visit the website www.telephones.att.com and enter "1717" in the search box and up will come a webpage showing the manual in Adobe form which you can download and/or print (comes out to 10 pages if you print).
