I feel Facebook has pretty much reached it's peak in number of users. It's no longer easy to use, which is why people turned to it in the first place. Along with TOS, many are being turned off of it. I know I was :)

Samsung revenues: No shock, various other companies reporting similar drops in revenue. The way business is conducted has to change, it's fairly obvious now.

I think you guys should follow up on that Facebook story. It looks like Randi Zuckerberg actually broke Facebook's TOS on April 20th, 2009. I found the background on this facinating (from the Telegraph blog):

1.) Julia meets with Randi Zuckerberg as evidenced by the following twitter:

"Scheming in the facebook cafe with @juliaallison @davemorin @meghanasha about NonSociety on Facebook
3:58 PM Apr 20th from TwitterBerry"

2.) Shortly thereafter, Julia/Facebook converts about "about 2,500" friend requests to her Facebook Profile into fan requests for her Facebook Page.

3.) According to Facebook's main Terms of Service:

"Facebook Pages are special profiles used solely for commercial, political, or charitable purposes."

Thus, a Facebook Page is commercial while a Facebook Profile is non-commercial. Furthermore, Facebook warns users that:

"YOU SHOULD BE CAREFUL BEFORE PROVIDING ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO OR ENTERING INTO ANY TRANSACTION IN CONNECTION WITH A FACEBOOK PAGE."
