The bidder is SK Telecom from South Korea, but the "SK" does not stand for "South Korea" (for those interested, it stands for Sun Kyung, the group's old name). SK Telecom already has a relationship with Sprint (sort of) through its ownership in Helio.

While people are posting comments on corrections in the roundup here.., Android is not a threat to Motorola as is just a technology/platform that handset providers chang choose to implement on their devices. Android will be trying to take market share from Symbian and Windows Mobile.
