    Scott, These are good reminders. One lesson I have learned in the startups I have been involvedwith is to not try to broadcast to the world. Finding the group that thinks what you are doing is remarkable, even if it a very small group, and connecting with them will be way more productive. Finding them and equipping them to tell your story will set a start up apart. It also fits great in a show string budget.

    Thanks for your comment John. I definitely agree that finding the smaller groups who think "what you are doing is remarkable" is a formula for efficiency and success when it comes to lead generation and your social media engagement. I am reading Brian Solis' book right now, "Putting the public back in public relations" and he emphasizes this as well.
