Utilities companies aren't in business to help me save money. They won't promote the smart chip at all.

Similarily, oil companies aren't going to pour billions into developing alternative energy like some want.

It is a huge opportunity, particularly for the CAT-iq / DECT chipvendors, as this technology is cheap, reliable and low energy consumption.
