    Matt, There is a big difference between New England (CT northwards) and the red graphic for the Northeast on the blog which contains the great state of Virginia. Can you specify the geography a bit better, I am confused. I could imagine SouthernCal slapping down Boston, but the whole East coast? Say it ain't so...

    So one third of all US venture capital in 2006 went to the Bay Area, and almost one half went to the great state of California. It doesn't surprise me but I still think it's pretty amazing.
