    Exactly- but Chris Gardner's message was just as inspirational prior to the downturn- it's just a lot more relevant now, and not just for the chip industry. As always, the best of the best in motivational speaking are still the ones with great stage presence and a strong message that appeals to smart audiences. I'm glad the Semiconductor Alliance was able to enjoy a speaker like Gardner, it's really true that we need excellence in inspiration now more than ever.
