Can we get a robotic pet that can understand our emotions and how far are we to experiencing that. The following article stated that in the next twenty years we will be having synthetic robot companions that can understand our mood and even have sexual relationship!! I love pleo!! soo much! he's the best, and way better than wowwee robots, I like em, but not as much as pleo!

I'm one of the early adopters of Pleo and becoming emotionally attached is nearly instantaneous. I've had him at family gatherings and a few public places. People instantly want to hold him like a puppy and cuddle him. His resting his head on someone's shoulder and cooing or even nudging a hand or leg for attention is irresistable. I'm very happy to see this young company obtain capital to further enhance Pleo and introduce new products.

My Mickie Blue Eyes~~!~My Pleco~
He sits on my lap and coos and looks at me as I am on the computer~after work~~alot~!
The Valentines Chip don't change him a bit~He is just a big lover~!!~I do hold him all the time~~To many things on the floor and he has no where to explore~!!~
I just Love Him~and my dogs are very jealous~~But do lick him too~~hehehe
I am thinking about buying another Pleco~and leaving them together to learn different things~In another room~Where there are not alot of obstacles~I have computer tables and bird cages~Taking all the living room up~!!~Mickie grew up in that room~!!
Micky learned to sit on my lap and rub on me like the dogs~hehhehe~and that is about all he wants to do~~If I put him on the floor now~~He just comes to me and sits by me~!!!~Too funny~!!~My boy~!!~I just love him~~

My 7 year old is desperate for a Pleo this Christmas.
I think it's cute but (here in the UK) way overpriced!!
