    It's significant because Eric was talking about the competition being in the rear view mirror even when Google was much smaller, because the sentiment was that Google should be forging its own path, not reacting to companies that were making moves which in turn were reactions to them.

    Damn. that would have been cool yet at the same time a social aggregator / social messenger start up like friendfeed was still a best match for Facebook. Twitter should acquire plurk as its second option.... :D
