I would recommend http://www.websitevaluebot.com to monitor your traffic statistics.

Re: Using ClickTale’s analytics pays off — really

I guess until you have actually used clicktale you might struggle justifying paying for the service. Once you use the service, you will wonder how you ever got by without it. There is the temptation to cancel the subscription once you make the first round of changes based on watching the visitor recordings but the way I see it, there is always room for improvement. If you have a site that has tangible conversions then I highly recommend this tool.

Re: Using ClickTale’s analytics pays off — really

The best is to make prototypes and test them before you really start to make the changes. A good tool to do it is Justinmind Prototyper (http://www.justinmind.com) that also generates HTML to be tests by ClickTale and many other testing tools

Re: Using ClickTale’s analytics pays off — really

Hi! I have seen many such websites that provide competitive analysis for free. My personal favourite is http://www.estimix.com . It seems to generate very accurate traffic information, too.

Re: Using ClickTale’s analytics pays off — really

Now clicktale shows services unavailable....

Re: Using ClickTale’s analytics pays off — really

and another UX tool started recently too: Loop11 (www.loop11.com)

Re: Using ClickTale’s analytics pays off — really

you are overreacting... breathe my friend. :)

Re: Using ClickTale’s analytics pays off — really

There are other competitors out there for clicktale! The ClickTale system (if you look at their website) can make "movies" of each user's mouse movements, clicks, scroll bar usage, and browsing habits through a particular site. Presumably the user has no idea all this is being recorded. The associated javascript code could possibly be attached to ads so that an ad-serving company can also track this usage across all their client sites. Potentially they can capture keystrokes, such as the user entering credit card information, etc. Even if ClickTale doesn't support this now, it seems like the fundamental technology can be quite invasive. Or am I overreacting?

Re: Using ClickTale’s analytics pays off — really

Wondering if once you have optimized your website and obtained results, will you keep paying for the ClickTale service?

Re: Using ClickTale’s analytics pays off — really

Just looking at the attached screenshot, the data provided looks like most any other visitor analytics software.

Re: Using ClickTale’s analytics pays off — really

Its amazing company, the growth is phenomenal and i would place this in the league of most promising companies to watch for.

Re: Using ClickTale’s analytics pays off — really

Pricing in going to be very crucial for this newbie.
