    This is a publicity stunt from Bay. We pitched to them not so long ago where Bay claims to like what we do very much. So much so that they even promised to write a cheque. Guess what? No cheque - the 'promise' remains.

    In general, it's a smart move for Bay. YouTube and Photobucket validated this approach for VC's (building off MySpace). VC's aren't looking for all apps to work, they just need one to hit big.

    The question is whether other funds with "insider" access to the Facebook platform (and therefore a leg up) will follow suit or not...
