Interesting to see how this effects the market. Looking forward to your coverage of the show today.

You obviously are a prejudiced Apple hater.

I though Vodafone was pushing the evolving Opera/Nokia/W3C standard for mobile web widgets. Is JIL just a new name for that or yet another incompatible widget platform.

There are still big challenges ahead for Verizon in terms of the interface. The iPhone app store couldn't be easier to use. I use a Samsung Omnia, one of the latest smartphones on Verizon, for my regular phone, and an iPhone 3Gs regularly for work. Both are touchscreen-only smartphones with unlimited data plans, but literally everything is easier on the iPhone: downloading apps, using them, surfing the web, writing email, etc. I've been a Verizon customer for about 5 years and don't plan to switch too soon, but I'm praying when Apple's exclusivity with AT&T ends Verizon offers the iPhone.
