I'm not following your point here. Can you elaborate?

@Anthony: The bigggest investment of Microsoft will happen in ireland. with a a 1 billion data center and 500 million of money to grow IT and general tech business in ireland.

There will also be three new data centers in the usa. one in canada, one in syberia and one in mexico (this one is not yet confirmed). the one of mexico is going to be minor at 100 million. the most interesting data centers would be the one from syberia and the one from Mexico. one will need zero conditioning to control heat and extremely low general maintenaince. will only have reduced human supervision (like 10 people) .The one from mexico would need maintenance and conditioning but would be auto suficient because it would generate all the electricity it need from solar panels and air power given the speculation of where they would put it.

Anthony, great analysis here. I myself think that Microsoft may be in a problem persuading developers (startapers especially) to adopt Azure unless it is actually perfect in reliability and pricing - simply because developers rarely tend to love what Microsoft does anywhere.
