I just started an Al Gore for President campaign.  Most of the time people have to create a unique website to promote a social cause (Save Darfur, Politics, Fundraising, etc.).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;When an issue becomes big enough, then a stand alone URL/web presence is justified.
