Nick · 6 months agoWasn't Tektronix (bought by Xerox in 2000) doing this in the early 90s?
-
Tracey · 6 months agoYes Xerox bought Tektronix because of this technology in 2001. This thing is awesome though!!

Big and Tall Jeans · 6 months agoi like what xerox is doing. they are making a change to stay current in today's society. it is what needs to be done all over the board and they are laying their claim to the future. i hope more companies take a cue from them.

Naomi · 6 months agoYeah, we had a Tektronix color laser printer from the Free Printer promotion Xerox ran about 5 years ago. Printed beautifully with the small wax sticks, fab resolution, the problem was you could scratch the ink off the page, not so great for photographs and charts. Stuff would get scratches and white specks just taking it out of your bag - fail. Hope they've solved that this time around.

No more waste · 6 months agoJust the reduction in waste is amazing. I can hear Ricoh and Canon scrambling now on how to spin this one!

phaser 7400 · 1 month agoHigh End and very good print quality full colour laser printer which contains separate toner units and drum units for each of the 4 colours. Often used by print shops and larger volume printing Corporates. The printer is based on a Okidata print engine , whereby the toner is gravity fed into the drum unit.
