I prefer Zemble's approach to group based texting. It's easier to use, and they protect their users from spam! http://www.zemble.com

Sorry, didn't mean to double post... My browser timed-out during the 1st post, so I didn't think it went through...

I'm a little confused by these group messaging services like Zemble, Mixd, and 3Jam. Do they go through the SMTP gateway; therefore it is free for these companies to send SMSs? If they go through SMSC, aren't they charged by gateway providers for each SMS sent? I just don't get how they can justify costs.

More companies need to add sms texting software like this to their websites http://www.faxnumbersoncd.com/freetext.htm

Simply put you can text yourself a coupon for a free appetizer or a $1.00 beer. I guess it would work with any type of business. But just think, you go to their website and text yourself a free apitizer. Way to save a few bucks.
