This is intersting as now people can target the areas they need to focus for whatever reason for particular issue. It's still not clear but especially the live events that are broadcasted can be monitored with the statistics. This is good!!
Well then it all comes down to how you want to use it. One thing I am sure about, this can definitely help utube to make more money.
