I'd be surprised if this sort of deal, be it with Sony or someone else, didn;t happen sooner or later. The major publishing companies are beginning to realise the power of YT (look at removal of music vids) as a revenue generator - stick some non-skippable ads in front of your feature movie and you're well away.

P.S. I live in China, and YouTube is still banned and i never had a chance with Hulu cause it doesn't work overseas. Oh well at lease i have these video websites (http://www.danwei.org/internet/updated_china_vi...)
