Excellent news but a bit late. as only NYC is covered I discovered another service called appointmentseasy.com and it's great and free.

A number of valuable web based software solutions are available online; which can improve the operation of a busy office or practice.

To combat the loss in revenues, resulting from missed meetings and appointments (to both clients and practioners), some professionals have utilized a web based room scheduling software or appointment scheduling software; to monitor client meetings and appointments.

Email reminders will reduce no-shows and self-scheduling clients can book their own meetings or appointments online.

In addition, it frees up time for Professionals to concentrate on other areas of their workload; online or in the office.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and insight.

    Best wishes.

I agree it saves me a lot of time. In addition to email reminders the service I use can send SMS message. I have almost removed no-shows with this combination of reminders.

My only questions is that how will make money in the long run when similar outfits with no venture capital such as http://www.mydochub.com has close to the amount of visitors ZocDoc has. The health care field is filled with dead companies in the health 2.0 space. I don't think they will survive for long before the $3 million runs out.
